I'm not that creative in naming things, so I am naming this blog after my wonderful dog. If you can think of something better, pass it my way. Otherwise, enjoy.

Vacation's Over :(

It's funny...when we landed back in Cincinnati yesterday after being in Florida for 4 days, I was glad. Glad to be home, glad to be just Ryan and I again. It was nice for things to just be back to normal, even if we did have a great time. However, when I returned to work today, all I wanted to do was be back at the beach!!! (By the way, that is a genuine photo from the complex we stayed at!!)

We spent Wednesday through Sunday in Siesta Key, Florida. It's a beautiful beach. Ryan's parents spend 2 weeks there every summer, with his aunt and uncle (who are really fun people), and sometimes other relatives who decide to join them from year to year. We got in Wednesday at around 4:30 p.m. On Thursday we went to dinner at Captain Curt's where I had crab legs for the first time. It was a KILLER meal!! I absolutely LOVED the crab!!!!

The funny part came when we were going to bed the first night we were there. They stay in a one bedroom condo, so I figured that we would just sleep on the couch and loveseat respectively. Granted, he has his own house and we're getting married in four months after being together almost 6 years...we've slept in the same bed before. However, we've never been put in a situation quite like this. His mom was basically TELLING us to sleep on the pullout couch together. After all these years?!?!? And to be possibly tested with four months to go?!?!? I DON'T THINK SO!!! In their bedroom they had a double bed and a twin bed...so I pushed Ryan on into their room and slept on the pullout by myself. Exam aced.

But besides that we had a great time and lots of R & R. Napping on the beach, reading books, taking walks, etc. It was some much needed relaxation time that both of us needed. Plus I realized again how much better everything is when we get to do it together!! I am one lucky gal.

So that about covers vacation. It's back to the grind again, until the honeymoon in beautiful Nassau, Bahamas in October!!!! :)
